Refreshed
March 5th, 2008 Well i am sitting here at home in Big Valley, doing the daddy daycare thing. Coral is growing up so fast, she’ll be 8 months on the 10th! Overall it has been a great break away from the game. I have been able to spend some quality time at home with the family. I have also learned some ins and outs of the flooring world, working for my friends and sponsors Ariane and Paul Jensen of Jensen Contract Flooring. Crystol is working for them as well in the office and is really enjoying it. Trinidy loves our house being directly across the street from the school where she has been doing very well in second grade.
Although it has been fun and i have gained experience working, I am so ready to get back to golfing and having a great year.  Along with the family and work i have been playing Hockey two nights a week which has kept my competitive juices flowing.
I will be leaving Alberta on the 15th to Stockton, California to stay with my Brookside Country Club Family. I will work hard on my game for the 3 weeks prior to the start of the season there in Stockton. Hopefully i will find the game fast because my first competitive round will be in Livermore, California at the Nationwide monday qualifier. The following week is in Modesto, California at De Rio Country Club for the first Canadian Tour Event of the year. It will be really nice going back to Del Rio because it was the site of my first Canadian Tour win back in 2005 (Foster Farms California Classic). Then we return back to Brooside Country Club for the second event and one of my favorites because of the people involved at the tournament and community.
Well thats about it for now, be sure to read my next post where i will be doing a lot of thank yous to my sponsors and certain people that have made this road to the PGA Tour possible.

Stu,
We all enjoyed having you around this winter to play hockey with us. Lots of laughs and good memories. We all wish you luck this year and hope that you have a great year and nothing but success. Your winger spot will be reserved for your return.
Your Pals,

Thanks to the Leafs for a good season on the ice, hopefully my record on the grass will be as good as the Leafs record. Look forward to the last game of the year tommorow. Cheers Stu

Hey Stu, it was a great season no doubt for Leafs hockey. It was nice to see the big guy snipe a few this year. However, it will be more rewarding to watch you drain about 10 40ft eagle putts. Do the Leafs and the Valley proud this year man. Win it all! And if any of your events are televised I hope to see you hit one worm-burner. Good Luck Stu! Eddy
